Social media shows you just one percentage of people’s lives, never all of it.
– Ai ai ai, (ay ay ay.) My dear colleagues from secondary etc are having children, are living “married lives”, are drinking/partying every other day , are “making money” etc I am happy for all of you but we can’t really compare each other’s lives, even though sometimes I do. And it is human, but don’t do it. Because people don’t post images of themselves crying on a Friday, they don’t write about how the have drowned themselves in debt trying live a life they cannot just simply afford.
Like the news they will only show you, what they want you to see. So you can’t wish/ compare your life to someone else’s. Social media shows you just one percentage of people’s lives, never all of it.
Remind yourself that you don’t have to do what everyone else is doing.
I decided to keep this one short and I’ve completely changed my original text, peharps I’ll post it later on this week. But this, I see as being very important specially in the world of Internet, blogs and instagrams. Don’t ever feel pressured to live your life according to what others are doing. Because you will never be satisfied and surely you will feel constantly in depression or live in a competitive spirit because you think you have to do what everyone else is doing or better. Just do you.
